The Fall Tailoring Lookbook

New Pieces For A New Season

Tailored for Fall

Our newest range of tailoring, ready for a new season. We approached this season looking for something less tweed-y than we've done in the past. Our emphasis here is on suiting, with most cloth undergoing a London Shrunk finish, which increases the softness of the wool as well as it's natural elasticity for better recovery. This collection takes us back to 1970s New York City, with accents of rust and copper along dark brown grounds and bold pops of cobalt blue.

The Glen Check

Devised in the 1840s to hide Highland gamekeepers in the brush, the glen check was made fashionable by the Prince of Wales in the 1920s, and still carries his name. While most commonly seen in somber greys and blues, our take this season has a little more attitude, and is London Shrunk with a rust and cobalt blue overcheck on a tan and chocolate brown ground.

Milled in Scotland

One of our more traditional offerings for the season, in a Scottish-milled charcoal-on-grey houndstooth 14 oz. tweed. At such small scale, it almost reads as a solid from a distance- making it a smart choice for someone looking for something just a degree more interesting than a charcoal suit.

Your Go-To Jacket

A variation on the classic black and white herringbone, ours is done in black on earth-y cream ground, in a more atypical broken bone pattern- where each chevron is interrupted by a column of barley corn. With plenty of length for custom commisions on top of our ready-to-wear offering, this is one jacket we'd recomend for anyone's closet.

The Navy Suit

Few things are more essential than a navu suit. Ours is made in another broken bone pattern, this time in the darkest tonal midnight navy. Made from a easy-wearing 14 oz worsted Scottish wool, and finished with sleek jetted pockets and a classic 3-to-2 roll front. The trousers are cut with a high rise, single pleat, and finished with tab adjusters at the waist for a succinct look.
